When Miss C arrived at my Ashburn, VA boudoir studio, she was nearly vibrating with excitement and nerves. This was her first boudoir shoot, and she was afraid she would be uncomfortable or that it might feel seedy (because, I mean, she’s getting nearly nude in front of a stranger, you know?). Her fears were put to bed the moment she sat down in the makeup chair and Finn from Blush Away Makeup began to glam her up.
When Miss C came back in for her reveal session to see her photos for the first time, she was in awe and couldn’t fathom that was her on the screen! It made her all the more excited to give this as a gift to her husband for their anniversary.
(Let me stop here for a moment and tell you that every single woman who has come through my doors has ultimately had her boudoir session for herself first and her spouse second. )

Ultimately, this was a gift for Miss C herself. In the past, she has battled depression, and the changing of her body after having two children. It’s important to remember that we, as women, need to nurture ourselves so we continually have a full cup from which to pour. It’s easy for us to lose our confidence as our lives change, and a boudoir session is such an incredible way to regain some of that back.
When I asked Miss C her final thoughts on her session, she said, “Such an amazing experience, I am so glad I chose Supernova Boudoir!!”
